About Quill
Short version: Quill reads the professor's papers and helps you write the one email worth sending, in your own voice, from your own inbox.
Why Quill exists
The students who break through are not the ones who email the most professors. They are the ones who actually read the paper and say something real about it. Quill was built to make that kind of email, the specific, honest, well-aimed kind, take five minutes instead of five hours.
What it does
Quill reads a professor's recent papers, finds the angle a high schooler can genuinely engage with, and drafts a personalized email in your voice. You edit it, attach your CV, and send it from your own Gmail. Quill never sends mail for you, and your drafts stay yours.
Who makes it
Quill is built in Atlanta, Georgia, by a small team that has sent a lot of cold emails to a lot of labs. Questions, ideas, or a story about the lab you got into: hello@quill.ink.
